SPRINGFIELD – GR Consulting, a leading government relations, public affairs, campaign consulting, and strategy firm, announced that Jacob Wright has joined the firm as General Counsel. Wright will work alongside the firm’s two co-founders, Art Turner, Jr. and Larry Luster, adding additional experience, legislative and legal insight, and client support to its already impressive team.
Wright most recently worked as Director of Public Policy at Edelson PC where he advised federal, state, county, and local government officials on a variety of issues. Prior to joining Edelson, Wright was Assistant Counsel to the Illinois Speaker of the House where he was tasked with reviewing and drafting legislation, analyzing bills, providing memoranda and analyses on legislative matters to House leadership, and assisting House members with committee testimony and floor debate.
